Work as service Desk Specialist for the Army Enterprise Serve Desk, AESD.

Duties include troubleshooting web applications, fixing email problems and using Active Directory to search for account issues.

 

·  IT Specialist, Supersystems Inc.  (2014-2016)

Work on the install team for HP on the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet.  Duties include installing software, printers, scanners, VTCs, CAC readers, reimaging machines, replacing hardware, and troubleshooting software issues.

 

·  Agent, Yoh Federal Services. (2013-2014)

Worked in the Call Center for Hewlett Packard on the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet supporting over 700,000 computers.  Duties include using Active Directory for new user account activations.  Troubleshooting network connectivity, network printer and scanner issues, plus troubleshooting multiple web and standalone software applications.  Also supported the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Information COI.

I had an opportunity to go back to school and earn an AS in Information Systems Technology.  I completed my degree in three semesters while volunteering at Computers 4 Student Success, which has donated over 4,000 computers in its brief history.  I learned much about cloning hard drives, computer repairs, reimages, basic troubleshooting, and setting up networks.

Volunteer Work

·  Volunteer, TCC Computers 4 Student Success (2012- 2013) Assisted in refurbishing used computers.  We install updates and patches for all the programs used.  In addition, we optimize and repair personal PCs and laptops.

 

·  Volunteer, Convoy of Hope (2011) The Convoy of Hope is an organization that travels around the U.S. helping the poor by giving them haircuts, new sneakers, prayer, food, and face painting for children.
